How do Social 6 Lingual braces work?
The braces use similar wires and brackets to traditional fixed braces but are attached to the back of the teeth. The positioning of the fixtures means Social 6 Lingual braces remain completely unnoticed during the treatment process. Your braces will be custom-made to suit your orthodontic condition based on a mould of your teeth. Once your brace has been made you will visit the practice to have them fixed in place.
Who is Suitable for Social 6 Lingual braces?
People who have minor to moderate crowding problems can achieve effective tooth movement with Social 6 Lingual braces. During an initial consultation we will perform a thorough assessment to decide if this is the best brace option for you.
How long does Treatment take?
Most cases can be finished in as little as 5 to 16 weeks but this will depend on the severity of your condition. This can be discussed with our team during an initial consultation.

Dr Neresh Behari and Dr Usha Ramjas are a dedicated husband and wife team who graduated from Wits University in South Africa and established Dental Studio together; they are partners in business and partners at home and they make a fantastic team.
Whilst travelling, they came to Britain, really enjoyed the country and decided to stay; they now have 2 lovely children, Nikhila & Kirav.
Their passion for dentistry compelled them to buy a business so they could practice dentistry their way.
Their ethos in dentistry is focused on providing world-class dental care in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
They have completed many courses including advanced training with the reputable Dr Chris Orr in the UK who is a past president of the BACD also Dr Larry Rosenthal, courses at the Pankey Institute, and Dr Frank Spear in the USA.
They are also members and regular attenders of the Frank Spear (UK & USA) and Pankey study clubs.
They are members of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (BACD) and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (AACD). They are two of only a very few dentists in the UK who have completed the whole of the world renowned Spear Institute curriculum in Scotsdale, Arizona, USA.
Usha Ramjas - (GDC:71183)
My name is Usha Ramjas and I am part of the dental team at the Dental Studio. I graduated in 1995 in South Africa before moving to the UK.
I have a wide range of interests and a great passion for cosmetic dentistry. I love to create beautiful smiles that help patients to look and feel great, especially if I am helping someone to overcome their fear of the dentist.
In addition to cosmetic dental treatments like tooth whitening and veneers, I enjoy treating clients with facial rejuvenation treatments to create beautiful, youthful appearances. I work closely with all my clients to match their expectations and always go the extra mile to ensure they feel great and rejuvenated when they leave the practice.
There is nothing more rewarding and exciting than helping my clients to recover and improve their smiles. No two days are the same and I love the challenge. I am always learning and developing as I attend courses on a regular basis in the UK and abroad.
I am forward-thinking and always eager to learn about new treatments. Not just so that I can master new skills and learn the latest techniques, but so I am able to offer my clients the best treatments for the best results.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and enjoy travelling and cooking.

I graduated in 1998 in South Africa. My true passion lies in the art of changing people's smiles which in turn changes their lives.
What gives me the most satisfaction is the role I play in changing people's lives. A great smile is vital to self esteem. Nervous patients allow me to express the kind and caring side of my nature to give them the confidence to change their perceptions of dentists.
I have built up a great patient base with my loyal patients travelling from far and wide to seek my expertise and professional care. I regularly attend many courses as I pride myself on being able to give my patients the very best.
I believe in complete dental care and my passion for dentistry drives me to find a predictable, long-lasting solution for my patients that gives them the very best looks at the same time.
We decided to travel before we opened our practices together so we moved to England because it is a central location to travel to and from. In the midst of all this, we had two children Nikhila and Kirav.
When I'm not pursuing my passion for dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my children and the family. We enjoy travelling the world and exploring different cultures, sampling their culinary dishes and experiencing different red wines.
I have a love for the sea including water sports such as scuba diving and swimming.

For nearly two decades I have been lucky enough to meet the world’s leading aesthetic dentists as I have travelled, both lecturing to other implantologists and learning from them myself. I bring that knowledge back to Jersey, and to my clients at Dental Studio.
I have a fantastic team, and we take great pride in managing every smallest detail in order to create a comfortable and relaxed environment. For the last ten years we have been leading the way in dental excellence, and our skill and experience has attracted not only top celebrities, but other dental professionals who rely on our expertise to enhance their own professional careers.
Dr Sharad Patel qualified at The Leeds Dental Institute, gained his Master in Clinical Dentistry at the prestigious Kings Dental Institute in London. He has been specialising in cosmetic dentistry for more than 15 years, and has gained an international reputation for the elegance of his work. As well as being our implantologist, Dr Patel lectures internationally on cosmetic dentistry and implantology, and mentors referring dentists as they develop their careers. He helps dental practitioners expand their skills in dental implants, bone augmentation and facial aesthetics, enabling them to offer those services. He also is one of an elite group of dentists in the UK with membership of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Congress of Implantology.
